In the period 6 – 12 June 2016, Bulgarian Sports Federation for Children Deprived of Parental Care held ‘ORGANISATION OF ADAPTED SPORTS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY’ Transnational Training – or how to consider specific needs of youth with disabilities in organizing sport and physical activity in schools and social care institutions / Activity 3, Task 1 under SPORT FOR ALL Project
MOTTO OF THE TRAINING: SPORT UNITES ALL – ADAPTED SPORTS
The event is part of series of specialized trainings aiming to activate the collaboration between stakeholders for more sports activities involving children from social care institutions and young people at risk.
The training provided opportunity to learn about innovative approaches for cooperation among the NGOs, social care institutions and local authorities for the development of adapted sports for youth with disabilities.
Guest lecturers were: architects, travel agencies, local authorities, medias, sport experts, sport managers, psychological counsels, and representatives of: social care institutions, NGOs and education.
